Born and raised in New York City to Algerian parents, Sarah Daoui was scouted in Paris while studying abroad, and quickly worked with Pierre-Ange Carlotti and Giambattista Valli. Sarah is passionate about the power of film as a tool for education and social progress, and has been active in documenting the Algerian Hirak Movement, an on-going, peaceful movement for democracy.
A recent New York University graduate with a degree in International Politics, Sociology, and Cinema, Sarah intends to continue her studies in International Law, in the hopes of being a voice for positive change in the MENA region.
