About / umi ami
Umi was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised between Atlanta, Georgia and South Florida. She comes from a culturally rich background shaped by Black American and American Indian roots. She officially began modeling at 22 and is focused on building a career rooted in growth, discipline, and creative exploration. Outside of modeling, Umi is a licensed cosmetologist with experience working in hair, and she enjoys creative outlets such as drawing, painting, and embroidery. With ten siblings, she values time spent with family, and her curiosity and love for travel continue to shape her perspective. She carries her work forward in honor of her mother, her earliest and most devoted supporter.
