Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, India Mulcahy developed a strong sense of independence early on, shaped by the environment she still considers home. She began modeling after being scouted for the “Next Icon” competition three years ago, which she went on to win, leading to her signing with her mother agency and launching her career. An early milestone came when she was flown to Los Angeles for a campaign, a defining moment she considers her true debut and a shift in taking modeling seriously. Since then, she has collaborated with brands she long admired, including Mecca, and built an ongoing partnership as an ambassador with Kérastase. Her work has taken her across Australia, Indonesia, and the United States, highlighting the global scope of her career. Outside of modeling, she fosters dogs, a meaningful part of her life that brings balance, and enjoys downtime with friends and a love of shopping.
