Born and raised in Washington State, Emma McLaren comes from a Norwegian, Swedish, Scottish, and Irish background. After dedicating years to academics and athletics—earning both her bachelor's and master's degrees in environmental science while competing as an NCAA Division I beach volleyball athlete—Emma has embraced modeling as a new creative chapter following her retirement from the sport. Originally scouted at volleyball tournaments during high school, she joined The Industry LA through Renew Artists and is excited to pursue high-fashion opportunities with a focus on sustainable and environmentally conscious brands. Outside of modeling, Emma enjoys drawing, horseback riding, swimming, spending time with her cats, and developing her nonprofit, Go Out n About!, which encourages people to connect with their communities and the outdoors.
