Born and raised in Hilversum in the Netherlands, Emma van Lommel grew up in a large, close-knit Dutch family, which shaped her outgoing and sociable personality. She began modeling in 2019 at the age of 11 after being introduced to her mother agency through her older sister, quickly progressing to her first job with Mango at 14. At 17, she spent a summer working in Milan, where she gained international experience and shot an editorial for Sorbet with Miu Miu in Portofino. Since then, she has worked with brands including Twinset and participated in a Louis Vuitton trunk show. Alongside modeling, she studies medicine at university in Amsterdam, balancing both paths with dedication. Outside of work, she enjoys socializing, discovering new places, reading, and going for walks.
