Born and raised in Villa Estación Chontalpa, a small village in Tabasco, Mexico, Mellanie Guzman grew up in a large, close-knit family as the youngest of eight siblings. She began modeling nearly two years ago by chance, when a friend and makeup artist asked her to step in as a model, an experience that quickly revealed a new creative passion. Since then, she has embraced the industry with a growing sense of purpose, marked by a proud career highlight: appearing on the cover of Elle México’s Pride edition, “Protect the Dolls,” a moment that allowed her to contribute to greater visibility for her trans-community. She also values the connections she’s made along the way, particularly during her time working in Peru, where she collaborated with creatives from around the world. Outside of modeling, she enjoys walking through Mexico City’s parks, visiting local flea markets, and spending time with close friends. She is also interested in exploring painting and hopes to adopt a dog in the future.
