Born and raised in Peruíbe, on the southern coast of São Paulo, Zaya Sabará comes from generations of a strong caiçara family, with a deep connection to the sea, nature, and her local community. Her modeling career began unexpectedly when she was scouted while walking into a mall, eventually leading to her first job in Dubai in February 2026 and opening the door to her dream of traveling and working creatively. Since then, she has traveled for shoots and embraced becoming different characters—from a mafia boss in Dubai to an eccentric art curator in Moscow—discovering that modeling is as much about storytelling as it is about fashion. Since then, she has collaborated with brands including Stradivarius and Haya x Dior, embracing opportunities across jewelry, sportswear, online campaigns, and luxury fashion. Outside of modeling, Zaya enjoys reading, journaling, visiting museums, exploring cities, riding her bike, singing, dancing, and trying different sports. Her creative interests extend to writing, acting, roller skating, gymnastics, and Muay Thai, reflecting her energetic and versatile personality.
