Born and raised in New York, Carli Hernandez grew up in a proud Dominican household, shaped by her parents’ deep roots between New York City and the Dominican Republic—an identity she carries closely and considers central to who she is. She was scouted at 17 while working as a cashier at Trader Joe’s, transforming a long-held dream of modeling into a tangible career path almost overnight. Soon after, she booked her first major job with Fenty Beauty, a milestone that affirmed her decision to pursue the industry and opened the door to international travel, including work in Australia. A defining chapter of her journey was spending the Spring/Summer 2025 season modeling in Milan, where consistent work and meaningful connections deepened her commitment to pursuing modeling full-time. Alongside her career, Carli values balance—spending her days off cooking homemade meals, going to the gym, and traveling to Florida or the Dominican Republic to reconnect with family.
