Born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and raised between East Africa and Spain, Cristina Cheni grew up in Nairobi, Kenya, in a multicultural Spanish-Tanzanian family that shaped her global perspective and deep appreciation for different cultures. She began modeling at 15 after years of encouragement from friends and family, eventually signing with her mother agency at 17 while pursuing her passion for the arts and later earning a degree in International Relations. Early milestones with Zara and Pull and Bear marked the start of her career, while attending the Dior and Miu Miu runway shows in Paris in 2025 became a defining moment that elevated her international profile. Since then, Cristina has appeared in the print edition of Vogue in collaboration with GUESS Jeans and starred in campaigns for Adidas, Expedia, and Opel Corsa. Outside of modeling, she loves traveling and backpacking, learning languages, and exploring the history, music, dance, and cuisine of cultures around the world.
