Born in Utrecht, The Netherlands, Frederique grew up in a small nearby village, surrounded by family, with her grandparents living right next door. These early years of family-centered life shaped her appreciation for connection, creativity, and simplicity. She began modeling at 18 while studying psychology at the University of Utrecht, initially taking a few jobs each month before her career quickly gained momentum. What started as a part-time pursuit soon became a full-time passion, leading her to travel the world and work with top international brands.Her early career highlights include editorials for ELLE Japan and ELLE China, shot in Paris — a defining moment that sparked her love of fashion storytelling. Since then, Frederique has appeared in campaigns for Marie Jo, Krewe, and Tommy Bahama, and recently began expanding her work to the U.S. market, shooting in Hawaii, Mexico, and across the States.Now based in New York City, Frederique loves exploring her neighborhood, traveling home to the Netherlands when she can, and staying active through the fast-paced racket sport of padel, which is also her favorite way to catch up with friends. With her natural elegance, easygoing energy, and international experience, she brings a sense of warmth and sophistication to every shoot.
